Griffon Vulture

Only about 24 Griffon Vultures remain in Cyprus compared to several hundred in the early 1960's. Improved animal husbandry is to blame as dead animals are no longer left in the open. The remaining few pairs nesyt on the cliffs at Episcopi in the British Sovereign Base Area
